  1. Information We Collect: When you use our app, we may collect and process image information you upload. This includes photos, images, or other visual content you share within the app.

  2. Use of Image Information: We collect and use your image information to provide you with app functionality — such as enabling profile pictures or personalizing your experience.

  3. Aggregated and Anonymized Data: We may anonymize or aggregate image data for analytics and app improvement. This information does not personally identify you.

  4. Sharing of Image Information: We may disclose image information only:

    • To protect our rights or investigate fraud; or

  5. Data Retention: Image data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill its purpose or as required by law.

  7. Your Rights: You may access, update, or delete your image information by following these steps: Open App → Click Profile Icon → Click Pencil Icon → Click Avatar.

2.6 Payment Information

When you make purchases through the Site, payment is processed via secure third-party providers (e.g., Apple, Google, Stripe). We receive confirmation of transactions but do not store credit card details.

2.7 Communications

We may collect communications sent via email, chat, or social media for customer support and operational purposes.

2.8 Automatic Data Collection: Cookies, Pixels, and Related Technologies

When you visit our Website or use the Unplug App, we and our trusted partners may collect certain information automatically using cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, and similar tracking technologies.

4.3 HealthKit and Google Fit

If you enable integrations, you authorize us to access or share relevant data solely to improve wellness features. We do not sell or use HealthKit or Google Fit data for advertising.

We may access or disclose data as required by law or to protect the safety and rights of users, Unplug, or others.

We may share limited, non-sensitive data with trusted partners that help us operate our business, analyze performance, or deliver our own advertisements.
These may include analytics or advertising providers such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Meta Platforms, Inc.

We do not sell personal information for money. However, under California’s CPRA, certain sharing of information for analytics or advertising purposes may be considered a “sale” or “share.”

You can opt out of this type of sharing at any time by clicking “Your Privacy Choices” in the footer of our website or updating your preferences via CookieYes.

4.6 Business Transfers

If Unplug undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction, consistent with this Privacy Policy.

However, no system is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

Unplug does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents may create accounts for their children only if they represent that all data provided belongs to them, not the child.

If you believe your child has submitted information to us without consent, contact support@unplug.com, and we will promptly delete it.

Unplug does not sell personal information for payment. However, limited data may be “shared” for cross-context behavioral advertising (e.g., via cookies or analytics).
You can opt out anytime using the “Your Privacy Choices” link on our website or by enabling the Global Privacy Control (GPC) setting in your browser, which we honor.

9. Closing and Deleting Your Account

You may deactivate or delete your account at any time:

  • In-App: Profile → Settings → Delete Account

  • Or email support@unplug.com with “Delete Account” in the subject line.

Deletion removes all personal data except that retained for legal, fraud-prevention, or backup purposes.

10. International Users

If you are outside the United States, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the U.S., which may have different data-protection laws than your country.

Unplug may transfer data to the United States for processing in accordance with applicable data-protection laws.
We rely on appropriate safeguards — such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission — to ensure that personal data transferred from the EU, UK, and Switzerland is protected in line with European standards.
