Axel Jordan

Background:

Axel Jordan is a Sound Therapy Practitioner, meditation facilitator, writer, musician, and wellness creative originally from New York City and currently based in Los Angeles. His work blends sound healing, mindfulness, guided meditation, music, and reflective writing to create grounding and emotionally restorative experiences that support nervous system regulation, self-awareness, creativity, and intentional release.

Drawing from his background as both an artist and author, Axel incorporates themes of emotional healing, self-empowerment, mindfulness, and human connection into his sessions and workshops. His approach to sound healing is rooted not in performance, but in presence and in creating a space for people to slow down, reconnect to themselves, process emotion, and return to a greater sense of balance and clarity.

In addition to sound baths and meditation, Axel often integrates journaling, guided reflection, and mindful writing prompts into his workshops to help participants access subconscious thoughts, emotional insight, and deeper personal awareness.

CLASSES/PRIVATES TAUGHT AT UNPLUG:

  • Sound Healing

  • Guided Meditation

  • Mindfulness Practices

  • Stress & Nervous System Reset

  • Journaling & Reflective Writing

  • Intentional Release Workshops

  • Creativity & Self-Connection Practices

WHY I PRACTICE MEDITATION:

As a creative mind born and raised in New York City, it would be an understatement to say my thoughts, emotions, and creativity are constantly in motion. Meditation taught me that peace does not come from trying to silence the mind or force thoughts away. Instead, it comes from learning how to sit with myself, stay grounded within movement, and choose how I allow those thoughts and emotions to move through me.

Meditation has helped me create more balance, emotional awareness, self-trust, and clarity in both my personal life and creative work. It continues to remind me that we do not need to become someone else in order to heal. Instead, we simply need to reconnect to ourselves more honestly.

WHY I PRACTICE SOUND HEALING:

Music and sound have been some of the greatest healing forces in my life. As a writer, musician, and creative, sound became a way for me to process emotion, reconnect to myself, and move through some of the most difficult moments of my life with greater compassion and awareness.

Sound healing allows me to combine creativity, mindfulness, music, and human connection in a way that feels deeply authentic to who I am. Through sound, I hope to create experiences that help others soften, release stress, reconnect to themselves, and remember that healing does not always have to come through force. Sometimes it begins simply by allowing ourselves to feel.
