WHY I TEACH MEDITATION:

I teach meditation because I believe that it is one of the most effective paths for anyone to find inner peace, balance, healing, and insight. I am passionate about facilitating soundbath meditations, in particular, because the acoustic elements and frequencies create an accessible and enjoyable entry point for people into their meditation practice. Combining intentional sound and fundamental meditation techniques is a magical formula that guides students into the calm and stillness needed to access their peace within, regulate their nervous systems, and heal in body, mind and spirit. I believe that anyone is deserving and capable of receiving and learning how to meditate. It is my honor to teach and facilitate – for the benefit of each student and of the collective.

WHY I PRACTICE SOUND HEALING:

I practice meditation and sound healing because these modalities help me ground and connect with my authentic self and higher truth. Meditation makes our chaotic world bearable. Meditation has profoundly changed my life and through my ongoing practice, I receive inspiration, creativity, expansion, and healing every day.

WHY I TEACH MEDITATION:

I teach Meditation because I wholeheartedly believe that if every child was taught this from a very young age and it were normalised, the World would be a far more peaceful place. For me, to teach Meditation is to be the change I want to see and to contribute to The World. I end every single meditation with the reminder that when we meditate alone it’s profound and when we meditate in a group, heal our own Hearts from within and emit that higher frequency into the World, the energy is magnified exponentially and so we raise the vibration individually and collectively.

WHY I PRACTICE SOUND HEALING:

Practising meditation is the one way in which we truly meet all versions of ourselves. It’s the place I go to face my shadows and my bliss. I do this for self-awareness, healing and personal evolution. It’s confronting, soothing, surprising, calming, courageous and authentic. Without it, I wouldn’t know myself, and that to me, would be a travesty.

Axel Jordan is a Sound Therapy Practitioner, meditation facilitator, writer, musician, and wellness creative originally from New York City and currently based in Los Angeles. WHY I PRACTICE MEDITATION:

As a creative mind born and raised in New York City, it would be an understatement to say my thoughts, emotions, and creativity are constantly in motion. Meditation taught me that peace does not come from trying to silence the mind or force thoughts away. Instead, it comes from learning how to sit with myself, stay grounded within movement, and choose how I allow those thoughts and emotions to move through me.

WHY I PRACTICE SOUND HEALING:

Music and sound have been some of the greatest healing forces in my life. As a writer, musician, and creative, sound became a way for me to process emotion, reconnect to myself, and move through some of the most difficult moments of my life with greater compassion and awareness.

Sound healing allows me to combine creativity, mindfulness, music, and human connection in a way that feels deeply authentic to who I am. Through sound, I hope to create experiences that help others soften, release stress, reconnect to themselves, and remember that healing does not always have to come through force.
